PERCY KELLY; WHAT A STAR!
Date Posted: 16th April 2018
15 minutes into #Countryfile and the orders for trails and books came pouring in. I didn't see the rest of the programme as my i pad was jumping about in excitement. Packing parcels all day - 3 visits to Keswick Post office with many boxes . The Man who couldn't stop drawing has been revised and reprinted and is now with the Bookbinders so it will be a short while before it is available but you can place a pre order on www.percykelly.co.uk/merchandise. to make sure you get a copy. A glance at my i-pad tells me the orders are still coming - so that's tomorrow sorted then!
Line of Beauty is also popular so I'm glad I did a large reprint after Tullie House cleared me out of everything. Percy is now assured of a distinguished future albeit posthumously which was his aim after all. There are so many things in the pipeline now ensuring he lives on through his work.
So its an early night with a cup of cocoa for me. Quite exhausting wandering the clifftops with Anita (especially with a sprained ankle which I was trying to hide. Amazing what you do in the service of art and television.)
